This useful basket is perfect for mail. It starts on a 4” x 11” slotted pine base. Use my space dyed combination Primary Colors to learn triple twining, spoke overlays and an easy outside rim. The pattern also gives instructions on how to make the basket taller to hold full size pieces of paper or file folders by adding to the spoke length and adjusting the amount of weavers. This basket is perfect for a teacher gift!

Basket weaving started out to be a hobby for me and has grown to a deep love that drives my passion and strengthens my skills as a weaver.  Most of my baskets are hand shaped and ALL of my baskets are hand dyed.  As a result, some of my “mistakes” have turned out to be my favorite baskets. ( More... )
